Whilst utilising the accidental, chaotic and the discarded his work, also, refers to the mathematical, engineered and organic.
A giant industrial swarth or shaving might, also be a mathematical model of a shell

Whilst many of Caspar's sculptures are rather organic and can fit, naturally, into any garden space, his large industrial metal pieces make a more dramatic impact on a garden or landscape, contrasting with their environment.
